Glow|Muldrow OK Family Engagement Photographer

This young couple met me for an early-morning photo shoot to document their engagement.  With the couple only in town for a small amount of time before they head back to Pepperdine University and a rainy morning, I was afraid we weren’t going to be able to make the session.  Fortunately, we made a last-minute location change and it paid off.  Literally, as we stepped out of the cars, it stopped raining.  Thank goodness, because had it not, I wouldn’t have gotten to meet this sweet couple who are so in love.  They literally glow with happiness!  Even though this was a mini-session, I had such a hard time quitting the shoot as well as picking my favorites to give them. . .what an awful problem to have, huh?

M – thank you so much for calling me again, and S and S – you are radiant!  You were such a breath of fresh air this morning, and I know you two will be so happy.  Call me anytime!

Goldilocks | Prairie Grove Family Child Photographer

Goldilocks exist, and I have the pictures to prove it.;-)  I met this sweet family for a photo shoot the other day, and I couldn’t help but think of one of my favorite fables.  Little miss A reminded me so much of how I always imagined Goldilocks as a little girl.  She has beautiful blond, curly locks that fall perfectly around her doll face.  Better than her looks is her polite disposition.  She warmed right up to me and the camera, and never once did she not say “please” and “thank you.”

You can see where she gets it after meeting her parents as they are so kind!  Like so kind, that they insisted on staying with me and postponing their long drive home until I solved the great mystery of my lost keys.  :-\  Fortunately, that didn’t take too long – whew!  This lovely family is rounded out by Mr. E who turns one tomorrow!  He was such a good boy, and is already quite the expert at walking.

N – thanks so much for calling.  I have loved working with you guys!  Enjoy this preview!

FREE KITTY!!!

This post has nothing to do with my photography, so I apologize.  This is a purely personal post as I continue to search for a new home for a stray kitten that has lived in my garage for the past two weeks.  This cat appeared in my Cannas about two weeks ago, and since then, I have been feeding her, bathed her and wormed her.  I would love to keep her, but this inn is full with the three animals already here.  The Humane Society is full, and I have gotten to the point where I want to be sure she goes to a good home.  I am afraid she would get lost in the shuffle in a shelter.  She is such a sweet, content cat who would make a wonderful pet for somebody.  If  you, or somebody you know, would be interested in adopting her, please email me with questions and details!  I promise I wouldn’t vouch for her if she was mean or an aggressive cat.  If she is loved, fed and petted daily, she will make an ideal family pet.  My guess is she is probably around 4-6 months old, so she is young and such a pretty cat too.  I think some actual photos of her will help her sell!  I tried to take some pictures to show her markings and face.  She loves to lay down and roll around when you pet her which is another testament to how docile she is.  Come on – give her a try!  I know she will be worth it! :-)

She’s Back…|River Valley NWA Family Photographer

…and so am I!  I have been MIA due to various reasons, but I think I am starting to get back into the normal routine.  This is my niece who I have featured on here before.  But, while we were on vacation recently, I got some more beautiful shots of her that I wanted to share.  She was on this great hunt for a big floppy hat, and I thought it was to wear on the beach. . .nope – it was for her photo shoot on the beach, lol!  We all took a turn with the hat in front of the camera, but it looked the best on her.  Isn’t she a cutie?
