I know – I have been seriously absent from this blog.  My life has changed completely and totally, but all for the better which has left me VERY short on time.  I do LOVE this blog though, so I am going to try to start posting some pictures from this past fall and early this year I have been working on.  I am HOPING to – we shall see.

I did want to log on and post a recent session photo of twin brothers.  I thought it was perfect for the upcoming holiday.  Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite days simply because everything is pink and red and there is a flower and chocolate scent in the air.  On top of that – people are in great moods, spring is on the horizon and love is all around.  It is just a great day.

I hope you find yourself surrounded with love of all kinds this week just like these two brothers.

Oh, wow…I know I have said it before, but redheads have all the fun.  Seriously, look at Miss H.  That auburn-colored, naturally curly hair and sparkling blue eyes are stunning!

I had the pleasure of meeting H at her gorgeous home and taking some fall photos for her and her family.  The weather was perfect, the setting fabulous and Miss H was a cool cat. We were able to get some with H in her JROTC uniform which was an honor for me.  I think she looks like Debra Winger in “An Officer and a Gentleman”…very vintage Vogue.

I had a great time, and I look forward to hanging out with you again H!

Little Miss K came back to see me this year, but this time she brought along  a friend..her horse!  What a lucky little girl – doesn’t every little girl want a horse?  K and her horse were perfectly sweet, and it is so neat to see the bond forming between them.  They both have a friend for life.

I am loving the black and whites…something about a horse in b/w photos that always looks perfect.  D, K and K – hope you enjoy.  Thanks again for an awesome opportunity!

I met some of my old friends at a new location.  It’s one I have been eye-balling for a couple of years, but I never had the nerve to ask permission to use it.  Well, I finally did it, and it was so worth it!  The red barn, pond, beautiful tree, surrounding woods and field coupled with gorgeous light made for a great evening.  Throw in a super cute little boy, and I got some great pictures!

The B family have been my neighbors for several years, and they are wonderful.  I was so glad I was able to capture them with their grandson.  B family, I hope you like these!  Enjoy…

I love to meet new clients – especially ones that have such cute babies!  Mr. C takes right after his momma with a content and sweet nature.  We had a beautiful evening to shoot some precious pictures, and I couldn’t quit hugging and kissing on that baby.  He is a doll.

K – I am so glad you called, and I hope you enjoy the preview.  I can’t wait to see you all next time!
